EFFECTIVE DATES
The Distinguished Marksman and Pistol Shot Ribbon was in effect from 1942 to about 1952.
CRITERIA
The Distinguished Marksman and Pistol Shot Ribbon was authorized for wear by recipients of the Distinguished Marksman and Pistol Shot badges.
ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
The Distinguished Marksman and Pistol Shot Ribbon was worn after all foreign medals and ribbons and before all other marksmanship qualification ribbons.
