The General Staff of the Military Order of Foreign Wars consists of "General Officers," all of whom but the Secretary-General, the Deputy Secretary-General, and the Quartermaster-General, are elected at a regular meeting of the Order by a majority vote of all the General Officers, Past Commanders-General, and the Delegates present. The three non-elected General Officers are appointed by the Commander-General. The National Council of the Order is composed of all the General Officers, the Past Commanders-General, and the National Delegates from each Commandery. The General Officers are listed below:
